MIBR continue to have trouble playing with a stable lineup.
As a result of testing positive for COVID-19, long standing MIBR member Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes will not travel with the team to compete in BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022, the organization announced on Tuesday.
MIBR Academy player Breno "brnz4n" Poletto will once again stand in for the team, having previously played for the main roster for multiple events in 2021 due to Ricardo "boltz" Prass' positive COVID-19 test result.
During the latter half of 2021, MIBR ran into many issues with their lineup when competing in international tournaments, resulting in both brnz4n and even Renato "nak" Nakano standing in during BLAST Fall.
MIBR will face a tough task with their stand-in as they reside in Group B of BLAST Spring 2022 alongside Natus Vincere, OG, and Astralis, with their opening match of the event pitting them up against the fearsome CIS side.
Here is MIBR's lineup for BLAST Spring Groups:
Raphael "exit" Lacerda
Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato
Matheus "Tuurtle" Anhaia
Jhonatan "JOTA" Willian
Breno "brnz4n" Poletto (stand-in)
Renato "nak" Nakano (stand-in coach)
